About Fins and Tonics
Our Vision
I became a Foster parent a few years ago- partly to be sure I could be a good parent, but also to make sure I really wanted (and could handle) kids. I got very lucky when Kaiden (L) and Jason (R) entered my life. I didn't know at the time that each one had special needs, kind of had to figure that out on my own. I didn't know a thing about raising special needs children, but looking back, I wouldn't change a thing. Jason wanted a boat to go fishing along with his brother. Jason is Autistic, loves boats and the water as does his brother----anything to do with water. So, I looked around for months and one day an old friend of mine had a project boat that he didn't have time to work on. He told the boys that if they fix her up, they can have her. Jason has had a dream of sailing to NYC, the Caribbean and then the world - I hope to make those dreams come true, with a little help from all of you. So, we have started our adventure- Welcome Aboard!
Our Team
Our team is made up of family and friends (but mainly Daddy Dave running it all for now).
